Stage 1 (Online):
It is to boil down the competition to identify those who have the “elemental edge”
Stage 2 (Offline):
You are in the top tier but here comes the high-stakes chemistry showdown. Are you going to spontaneously combust or will you show the world you have the right chemistry to be a champ?

Question Type: MCQ (Single option correct type)
Marking Scheme : +4 for correct answer
Marking Scheme: -1 for incorrect answer
Result : Results will be delcared on 15th Dec 2023
Students qualifying for round 2 (offline round) have to carry a school ID card and government ID for verification of class.
All the students qualifying online phase will be eligible for goodies and certificates.

- Verification: Students qualifying for round 2 (offline round) have to carry a school ID card and government ID for verification of class.
- Internet: To give phase-1 you will need a stable internet connection.

Students from Grades 8-10 from any school in pune can participate in this competition.
Stage 1 of competition is online. The contestant can participate in stage 1 from anywhere during the given time if they have access to a computer/laptop and an internet connection. Top 20% of students from each category will be selected for stage 2.
Stage 2 of the competition is offline, Location for the same will be communicated with the results of round 1 and will be in Kharadi, Pune.
One student can register for only one class exam.
Yes, you can register for higher class exam than your current class.However, one student can register for only one class exam.
No, you cannot register for lower class exam than your current class.
Questions will be based on the application of the concepts covered in the syllabus prescribed for the exam for the respective class.
Once you have registered, you will be sent an email within 24 hours with the link to the mock test and login credentials.
Stage 1 of ChemOlympics will be given on the same testing platform.
If many students secure equal aggregate marks, a higher rank will be given by comparing scores in priority of section 2 of the round 2 (offline round) then the total marks of both the rounds. If all the scores are equal, lower-age students will be given a higher rank
